Copatchy Harnesses are the top choice for keeping your Shiba safe and secure. Designed specifically for escape artists, these harnesses offer the perfect solution! This family-owned company is dedicated to dog transport for numerous rescues, helping to save dogs from kill shelters. They created this particular design because many alternatives are either overly complicated, do not fit properly, or are simply too easy to escape from.  We love the fact that, while most harnesses allow for 'hunching' out of, the Copatchy harness does not.

Don't Bathe Me!!

Shibas are unique pets that naturally maintain their cleanliness! Although they might occasionally roll in something unpleasant, a quick wipe with a damp paper towel and some Dawn will do the trick. Regular bathing is unnecessary and can strip their essential oils, potentially leading to skin irritations.

Chickens are fun to chase - but not good for the belly!

Shibas may develop allergies to chicken. While not all of them do, some can. If your Shiba is scratching, losing fur in patches, or excessively chewing on themselves, and you've eliminated common causes, consider reviewing their diet. If you're feeding them dry dog food, ensure it doesn't contain chicken. There are many high-protein alternatives available, such as beef, salmon, or lamb.
